"Newly renovated rooms in an excellent location."

"Overall, our one-night stay was fine, but nothing really exemplary. We stayed in a two- bedroom on the 8th floor. The space and the beds were a bit small, so it feels like you were mostly paying for the beautiful shore view. Everything else were on the pricier side, but generally ok. The biggest plus was the convenience, as it was the venue for my daughter's gala that evening. The staff though were generally welcoming."

"Location of the property is probably the biggest asset of this hotel, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and to Stanley Park with beautiful sceneries and great walking paths. We have to carry our bags up some steps, not much facilities here like a ramp. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, bathroom was Ok. We have no use for the kitchen but is good that was there. I don’t know about parking. Overall, this is nice place to stay for few nights. Happy we did."

"A good area close to English bay. A tidy room at an affordable price. A short walk to Stanley Park."

"The rooms are old but maintained decent. Doesn’t feel clean but there wasn’t anything that gave us a red flag that it wasn’t cleaned well. Definitely a 90s older feel. Dark room with limited lighting. Pool was freezing mid-June and hot tub was boarded up. Arriving in the evening gave us not a good feeling but the morning things and vibe seemed better. Breakfast wasn’t great but area was clean and had options! Not worth the money we paid though at all!"

"Pretty much was a great place, yes it’s old school decor and walls are pretty thin but I was there to get rest after excursions and the breeze was great, you have to be careful with opening windows and the balcony is not a balcony but still cute. It’s a full size apt which is great but I didn’t need it all but still nice!"

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Paradox. The room is clean spacious and very modern. The layout and amenities are great. The staff and service are excellent. I had some issues with tour buses. The front desk called the tour company on my behalf, and followed up later. Extremely helpful and attentive. Will stay here next time visiting the city."

"A small lovely hotel right downtown. Service is gracious, the best in town. Bacchus, the hotel restaurant, serves delicious food - one of the best hollandaise in Vancouver on their bennies. The hotel feels like a bit of a flash back in time: personal touches, genuinely warm welcomes, and room service rolled in on a cart with a white table cloth. No to go containers here."
