"Puerta España gives you the chance to re-Live the 70s in a hotel with character which allows time travel. I enjoyed seeing for the things time doesn't change. Great value for money. Great stop in a city where a packet of cigarettes is 4€ and in North of France is 13€. Enjoy your stay!"

"The staff was good. The room was cleaned but too noisy from the heater. Also the ventilation fan in the toilet also noisy. Some light bulbs in the room were malfunction. Breakfast were ok. The front part-rooms of the hotel had no views at all. The back side room had better views. There were street free parking 50 meters from the hotel. "

"Very disappointing experience for a supposedly 4-star hotel. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room was not working, and the temperature was around 30°C. It seemed the staff already knew about the problem, yet the room had been assigned to us despite being prepaid. We were told there was nothing they could do because the hotel was fully booked. The receptionist was polite, but we were asked to contact the manager ourselves. The manager replied that they would look into the issue, but...

"Super hôtel, entièrement refait à neuf et la déco est vraiment sympa. C’est super propre, rien à redire là-dessus. Mais le gros point fort, c'est l'équipe : tout le monde est d'une gentillesse incroyable et super accueillant, ça fait vraiment plaisir. On s'y sent super bien, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !"
