"This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this hotel. We booked a room with partial ocean view because there were no ocean view rooms available. When they say partial view, it truly is not partial. Maybe others are different, but we had to lean over the railing and really stretch to see the ocean. I guess it’s better than just looking at the courtyard. The temp in the room was very warm and despite trying to turn the temperature down, it was still warm. We had it set at 60 and it felt like it was at least 75. We should have just called the front desk, but we just survived. We did mention it upon checkout. Also, the radiator was really noisy (I saw this in other reviews). It kept kicking on and off constantly and was very loud. Again, didn’t call the front desk since I figured that it was the way they were based on previous reviews. The front desk staff were great! I wish that I got their names. It was cold out and nobody was on the beach, but I wanted to sit out there and watch and listen to the waves. Thinking that there would be no chance, I asked the front desk if they had chairs that that they rented to guests. She said that they did not, but they did have some beach chairs that previous guests had left behind. So she showed me those and said I could use it the whole time we were there. We requested a late check out and they did accommodate us. I would stay there again, but probably only if I could get an ocean front view (esp since the last one we had seemed bigger)."

"The rooms are nice on the 3rd floor. 1st&2nd - the sand dune is in your face. 4th floor outdoor deck is good for stargazing. The pool area is beautifully decorated. The problems - ants in the bathroom and the carpet, no microwave, no iron and the balconies are claustrophic."

"All the staff that I came in contact were friendly. Robyn at the front desk was Wonderful. For an older hotel the rooms are updated, clean and maintained. "

"Amazing location and great staff. Unfortunately there were some minor cleanliness issues- ants and some things that were missed, but nothing serious. Great spot to stay, friendly front desk, breakfast and amenities. Also fun to see the osprey!"

"The staff was fine. Breakfast, although listed as one of the best, was pretty much the same except for a change between pancakes and French toast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Temps were in room controlled so that was helpful. The spa was closed on Wednesday so we never got to use it. Hot tub, we didn't all bring suits so didn't use. We asked more than once for a fire outside snd it never happened.. that was a big disappointment. All in all, I would return."
