"My only negatives is the AC in my room did nit work to my liking. Took too long for my room to cool down. I booked a room with a washer machine but i got one without one. Other than that this hotel and location is amazing."
"Flawless stay from start to finish. Love the newly renovated design, with spacious rooms, excellent in-room amenities, and beautiful views. The bed was extremely comfortable, and while there was a little street traffic noise, the soundproofing was good enough that I slept well every night. The infinity pool was a great bonus too; it still felt like a proper place to swim laps, which is rare for a city hotel. The direct link to Dusit Central Park mall, which has plenty of restaurants and a supermarket, making it very easy to grab a coffee/ meal without even going outside."
"Disappointed with Hari's Bar, t says buy one get one free but it doesn't state only on selected items.
Club lounge needs to change the cocktail selection from time to time.
Bakery is very disappointing. Used to go there especially for their Chicken pot pies and fruit danish but that has now stopped."
"I recently stayed for 5 nights at SO/Bangkok and had a fantastic overall experience. The views from the room overlooking Lumphini Park and the city skyline were absolutely stunning — waking up to that every day was a highlight of the trip.
The pool area is beautiful, with an amazing atmosphere and incredible views that make it hard to leave. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality that set a perfect tone for the day.
A special mention goes to the staff, especially at the Club Lounge. The service there was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make the stay feel special and comfortable.
That said, one area that could use improvement is the condition of the rooms. While still comfortable, there are noticeable signs of wear and tear that you wouldn’t quite expect from a 5-star hotel. With a bit more maintenance and upkeep, the experience could easily match the high standard set by the service and facilities.
Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel for its views, service, and amenities, and I would happily return."
