"Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff helpful. Food was good and moderately priced, not high as some other hotels. Would have loved to be able to get massages. Bicycles available for touring around the area."
"Peaceful property with about 6 motel-style rooms at the back of a restaurant run by 3 lovely, attentive sisters: nothing was to much trouble for them to do. Delicious daily cooked breakfast, in fact the restaurant was so lovely that we ate there every night! Convenient parking outside each room. "
"Beautiful location & generously spacious huge terraced corner room overlooking the beach & pool.
Ant infestation on bed proved to be a persistent menace though :-("
"Lovely spot. We visited in the low season so there were less dining options available but certainly enough. My family enjoyed the family villa with pool."
"You feel welcomed from the moment you arrive up until the last second. Very friendly and kind staff. They’re a family-owned business which gives it a certain cozy vibe to your whole stay. "
"Friendly, almost family like atmosphere. There was (needed) renovations going on during our stay, but that didn’t matter too much.
We found breakfast a bit average and inconsistent but not for lack of trying and friendliness.
Overall a pleasant stay that could have been made perfect with a little more attention to detail (soap, lighter for candles provided in the room…. Just little things)

"Absolutely lovely hotel. Great location on a private beach, really nice pool for kids which has shaded parts for most of the day and a good on site restaurant for three meals a day!"
"Excellent stay at Laguna Beach Club Resort. Super friendly & helpful staff & owner. Nice clean bungalow. I recommend you stay here when visiting Koh Lanta."

"The private hot springs is the highlight.Wareerek offers quiet and peace. There is a stillness to the place that is very comforting. There is nothing around resort, but there is no need to leave the resort as the whole time you would just want to either soak in the hot springs,or, enjoy the massages. The food is light, tasty and a lot to choose from. The people are very warm and accomodating. It is beautiful place and would want to visit it again."

"We had the best stay at Layana Resort,it is so peaceful, tranquil the staff go over and beyond expectations, would certainly recommend this resort,Franck the resort manager could not do enough to ensure your stay is amazing. "
"We stayed at Avani+ Koh Lanta for 3 nights in a pool villa and overall had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. Our private pool villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — just what we needed for a relaxing getaway.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the buggy service, which was super quick every time we called — rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes.
The pool bar was great, and the happy hour from 5–6 PM was a nice touch. That said, when it gets busy, it can be a little hard to get your drinks in time before happy hour ends. We also found the pool bar closed quite early in the evening — not sure if that’s just during low season or standard for the resort.
Food at the resort was good, though a bit on the expensive side — which is expected for a resort. In our opinion, the menu could benefit from a bit more variety, especially since there’s only one restaurant and the location is quite secluded from other dining options.
Despite these small points, we really enjoyed our time here. The peaceful setting, friendly service, and overall vibe made it a memorable stay. We’d happily come back again!

"Just a stones throw away from the beach the hotel is perfect for beach goers. I had the most relaxing time the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast has an incredible selection of western and Thai. I’d come back here every year "
