"Very lovely stay at the Maltese Sun. Breakfast on the terrace was great. The hotel looks better than the photos on the website. The bathrooms are nicely remodeled. Only thing is the common areas are hot and the drinking water is also hot."

"The room was very clean and the amenities cannot be beat! Full kitchenette and washer/dryer. 30 minute walk/hike to downtown Valletta. One note for people who like to sleep in. Church bells go off around 8am every morning. Beautiful and musical, but hard to sleep through "

"A clean, new place with a cute little rooftop pool (with great views of the area), a lift servicing all floors and friendly, accommodating staff. Rooms were really big, immaculate and I appreciated they had a separate bin for recycling. Fridge, tea and coffee was provided. Aircon worked a treat, water pressure was good and WiFi worked well. (The latter 3 things are often a challenge in Malta!) the basement rooms have a courtyard too which was a bonus. I’d definitely stay again."

"We had such an amazing stay at the Mike Hotel! All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious and we had breakfast brought up everyday. The surrounding area was quiet and safe and very near the ferry to Valletta which only takes about 10 mins. I really hope to return one day!"
