"Great location, exceptional staff, wonderful experience! The El Moore Lodge is a gem located in mid-town Detroit with lots of fun and interesting discoveries nearby. Best part of my stay was breakfast in the parlor meeting folks who were not in a hurry, spending time talking about everything Detroit."
"The staff were rarely seen, but everything was done immediately. This is the kind of place where the hospitality was so great, it made you feel guilty. The only downside was not enough bathroom space to lay out your hygiene products."
"It’s a very nice building. Room is big and bed is comfortable. I found it weird that there is no shower curtain in the bathroom.
The front desk person is amazing. Didn’t get her name, but I checked in on 7/9. Super personable. I needed ice and she found a bag in the freezer. You can buy an ice maker from Amazon for under $70. The owners should invest in that. Ice is important in this weather. The street is nice. The neighborhood is mid. Kinda dicey and I live in LA…. Not a lot of choices for...
"We came into town for an overnight stay and were pleasantly surprised from the start. The staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. The bar manager, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. Despite the hotel being quite busy, he personally made sure our room service order was delivered promptly and correctly. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend staying here."
