"The twin room i booked was clean and presentable and fitted our needs perfectly. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was a menu to choose from so you choose your own variation of breakfast.
Staff were helpful, friendly and polite, overall, even though we only stayed one night, as we were attending a family wedding nearby, i would have no hesitation on staying here again."

"Welcoming owners Helen and Andy provide a warm, comfortable and luxurious B&B in the heart of lovely Eccleshall. Helen's artsy skill are shared in abundance, with every little detail attended to. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."

"My wife and I stayed at the Prince Rupert Hotel for one night and we were delighted by its location (right in the centre of town), its cleanliness and the charming staff. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast there. We did find that our room and some of the hotel decoration was 'tired' and could do with a touch up - but that is a small quibble about a historic hotel and should not detract from our very enjoyable stay. Parking was relatively easy - we checked in at hotel reception and they directed us to their open-air car-park a few streets away (£10 per night). A word of warning!!!! The hotel is in the middle of a number of one-way streets and can be difficult to find by car. The hotel MUST be approached via Fish Street off Wyle Cop. Do NOT approach it via Church Street off St Mary's Street as Church Street is one-way - the wrong way. If you do happen to drive up Church Street the wrong way, then you must hope to meet a charming Civil Enforcement Officer who will, quite rightly, admonish you but, seeing your genuine contriteness and stress, may take pity on you and not give you a Penalty Charge Notice!"
"Despite a lack of dedicated parking, the Parking is plentiful with an NCP directly opposite.
Room and public areas are immaculate.
The staff were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was excellent, less so the continental choice."

"The room was fine a little tired with small scuffs on the wall but nothing major. The service from the reception was very good we requested a travel cot and it was delivered to our room within a few minutes. The breakfast was tasty with a good choice from a full English to fresh fruit. Where the hotel needs to improve is the spa, the hot tub, one of the saunas and the ice room were out of order. The pool was full of sand or grit on the bottom. The gents showers had bits of mold growing on the walls and around the soap dispenser aswell as the steam room tiles and light fittings.
I would stay again i just wouldn't use the spa facilities unless they get refreshed like the gym recently has."
"Very quaint old building; rooms a little small but comfortable and clean; staff at the bar were really helpful and efficient; food was very good; can't fault the place, provided every thing we needed. Manager went above and beyond with his help. Also very central location. Diolch yn fawr i bawb am wyliau bach hapus iawn."
