"Excellent overnight stay in this delightful spot in the South Downs, close to Worthing. Beautifully modernised premises in spacious well-kept grounds. Our room was first class, as were the service snd the excellent breakfast, cooked in front of us. Altogether a real find."
"It was a lovely hotel, quite close to the airport, thus why I chose it.
The room was decent and quiet and alll the facilities that I needed for my stay worked well.
The car park was cramped, not much room to park, I had to get out of the car on the passenger side. So that could do with a bit of improvement.
Nonetheless, the price for parking was reasonable compared to other hotels nearby."

"Great stay! Was upgraded to nicer room on arrival. Comfy beds, lux bathroom, tea/coffee and fresh baked cookies - heaven! Walked to Amberley Black Horse pub for drinks & snacks (and board games) then back to hotel for their 5 course tasting menu - most enjoyable! "
"This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

"Bed was really comfortable, shower is epic, great sized TV, the staff are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel completely at home. The bar is traditional, which is rare, so nice and stylish and comfortable, and the locals are friendly too "
