"Our stay was amazing and we stayed an extra night. Staff were so helpful and friendly, bar/rest spaces were incredible with open fire to warm the room. Fantastic bar snacks as we weren't overly hungry on arrival. Great free breakfast and the best coffee we'd had since being abroad. Room was super comfortable and beautifully finished and clean. Plenty of pillows and comfy bed. We just love this place. BTW - the play list of an evening was elite. "

"Beautiful hotel- log fire, cosy pub and amazing staff. I accidentally lost a very sentimental piece of jewelry down the sink plug hole and the manager very kindly took apart the sink to retrieve it- definitely above and beyond the call of duty! Would definitely recommend. "

"Everything. The staff are so friendly, the room clean and comfortable. Great breakfast cooked to order and evening meals we had were delicious. It’s a cosy little oldie worldly pub with 2 open fires, was nice and quiet when we went with a few locals in of an evening. Owner very helpful. Would recommend 👍"
