Had an incredible stay here at the Crown. Perfectly located in the Cotswolds to explore in all directions. Charming hotel with an excellent staff. The owners truly go above and beyond.

The hosts were very friendly and loved our dogs which was a bonus. The accommodation and food were excellent and it was money well spent by ourselves. Loved their friendly dog Bertie and will recommend it to my family and friends.

The hotel had closed down on arrival, sadly Expedia failed to tell me. Spoilt trip, wasted time finding another hotel.

Lovely old building lots of history. Superb Sunday lunch and excellent fresh cooked breakfasts. Andrew and his team were very pleasant and helpful and the room was nice in a glorious area for walks and some good local pubs and restaurants.

Beautiful building with generous rooms. The family who run the pub were lovely and could not have been more accommodating. Very dog friendly.

We initially booked one night at this hotel and enjoyed our stay, including dinner and breakfast the next morning, as well as our discussions with the owners so much, that we extended our stay to include a second night. The property has wonderful ambiance and character, both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The owners provided very helpful recommendations as to local towns and villages to visit, which saved us time during our tour of the Cotswolds. We highly recommend staying at this hotel - plus they have a very friendly dog.

最美乡村酒店

非常棒的hotel！不算大，但怀旧和乡村味道浓厚，从房间到餐厅到花园，都太美了！第一次有这种体验。值得一提的是早餐，可以和五星级酒店媲美，毫不夸张。

Food was amazingly, Sunday roast was the best ive ever had. Owners, Ann and Andrew went above and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable. Ollie and Tess were also amazing. Nothing was to much trouble for any of them. Made you feel so welcome. Really enjoyed our stay and will definately go back again. Good location for exploring the Cotswolds. 10 out of 10 all round. Thank you all for a fantastic stay

This hotel is now permanently closed. We received an email a few days before our booking (which I didn’t get because we were in transit) saying they were shutting due to family health issues. I haven’t heard about a refund process yet.

Beautiful hotel- log fire, cosy pub and amazing staff. I accidentally lost a very sentimental piece of jewelry down the sink plug hole and the manager very kindly took apart the sink to retrieve it- definitely above and beyond the call of duty! Would definitely recommend.

A stunning building and courtyard with beautiful decor and the most welcoming staff - including Bertie the Labrador who was so well behaved. Breakfast was a delight with healthy options as well a good quality full English choice. Parking is secure to the rear of the building with a charming cut through to the main building. We stayed for two nights and will definitely return. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

Stunning hotel

We stayed at The Crown for 2 nights whilst we visited sights around the Cotswolds. The hotel is stunning. We stayed in the chapel room which was enormous and breathtaking with high celling, original features and beautiful furniture. Comfy beds and great shower. We ate breakfast and evening meals and the food was delicious again in a beautiful setting of the dining room. The court yard is beautiful and there is plenty of parking space. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved this cozy countryside inn! The property was full of character, room wad super clean and really comfortable. The lounge area was so relaxing and inviting — we ended up sitting there for ages just unwinding. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. It had everything we needed after a long day. Our kids said their happiest moment of the whole trip was staying here — we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended for families!

Stay was lovely, bit disappointed we had a sofa bed as description did not list this in a family room. Property was nice as was the room overall, bathroom could do with a bit of TLC. Room was clean, breakfast was good, staff were friendly bar a woman we met in the hall who questioned why we heading that way when we came out of our room, she was abrupt even when she realised we were guests- bit of a strange encounter. Location is good and walkable to a decent pub or 2.

The hotel closed and didn’t bother to contact us even though we pre-paid for a family suite (as a cost of over $1,100) back in February. Wotif/Expedia have not responded as promised within 48 hours and the hotel is uncontactable. We were left with no option (with elderly parents with us) to book at huge expense the night before an air b’n’b for the weekend instead. Still nothing from the hotel or from this site as to how we get compensated for this mess. If you have made a booking (especially pre-paid) you are in real trouble I’m sorry to say. I’m hoping my travel insurance helps us out but so far they are saying it’s between the hotel, the hotel booking site and me to work out. I can’t rate this place as low as I’d like to. Worst experience ever from all involved.
