"We were shocked that we had to take off our shoes and place them in a locker at the lobby area. Of course, we were provided footwear to wear up to our room. Before leaving the Hotel we have to turn in our key and pickup at the desk when we return. The fun part was visiting the Gotemba Premium Outlets. We shopped for Pokémon cards for our grandchildren. There was not much to do in the area in Shizuoka and couldn't go site seeing to Mt. Fuji because the weather was terrible. We cut our stay 2 days short and returned to Tokyo."

"The rooms were spacious and decently clean, a plus was that there was housekeeping that came by every late morning/afternoon for cleanup which many other hotels in the bigger cities didn't! The property itself does reflect the age of the building, but it definitely has that small town feeling to it making it feel much more homey and cozy. The staff were very nice and accommodating, the breakfast every morning was an amazing bonus! They do have public mixed gender baths, and a women's only bath as well, but do note no tattoos are allowed."
