Shimotsuga District Packages (Flight + Hotel)

The hotel is beautiful, and the area is clean, quiet, and safe. The staff was very helpful and kind. It was also convenient to have a Family Mart attached to the hotel and a microwave on each floor for guest use. You can’t get most places in just one train ride, but the hotel is a ten minute train ride to Tokyo Station and a 20 minute taxi ride to Haneda Airport, making it an excellent value for what I paid.

Convenient location! Steps to the Yamanote line, and steps to the Metro (Daimon station) so that is great, but especially for easy access to the Haneda airport monorail. The Hamamatsucho stop on the monorail is the connecting station between JR line and the monorail so it’s essentially the starting point to the airport via monorail - an easy 17 min away from Haneda. Having a washer dryer in room was the other big reason I booked this property, and despite being right beside the train tracks, we did not hear anything at night. The property is brand new so everything was clean and modern and beautiful inside. The only small downside, is that there isn’t too much around the property in terms of restaurants / shopping / cafes. We admittedly didn’t explore too much as we were only there one night; after spending 8 days in Japan and 7 days in Vietnam, this was our stay back in Japan prior to flying home. All in all, a lovely stay and great value for the large room, in room conveniences and ease of transfer to Haneda.

Awesome location, but the hotel was very dirty and seemed lacking maintenance like I did not expect it to be look in such rough shape considering it has such a high rating in Expedia. But the staff was fantastic
