"Room was nice and beds and pillows were very comfy. Loved the bench at the foot of the beds. Couldn’t get the hvac system to work, smell of cleaner was a bit strong if you are fragrance sensitive. Clean and spacious. Such a nice location too. "

"We had a lovely stay at La Fonda! The location was perfect and we enjoyed everything there was to do and see in the Plaza area. We loved our room with a beautiful view of the church and a very comfortable bed. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Our quick trip to Santa Fe was just what we had hoped. We definitely recommend La Fonda on the Plaza!"

"The room in this old motel has been nicely remodeled, but bathroom was subpar (majorly cracked tiles, really bad drywall patch jobs). Location is great by park, trails, good restaurants and not far of a walk to the plaza. The breakfast had a good selection, but egg and potatoes were on the cold side. The check-in person was very cold and short with me for some reason. Felt like he really didn't want to be doing this job and I was wasting his time. Maybe just a bad day. Also, didn't get the King bed that I reserved, but I didn't feel like moving at that point."

"This was a quick overnight where we just needed a place to sleep so no frills were expected. What wasn’t expected was a dirty maxi-pad on the bathroom shelf, a broken TV, broken bathroom fan, missing smoke detector, and unhoused people on the sidewalk. The unhoused folks were by far the least of our problems. Never staying here again. Informed staff on check-out (got in at 0100, too tired in the moment). They didn’t seem to care. Avoid."
