"Nice room to myself. I bought breakfast and dinner also, really well cooked. Good value for money"

"Was there just overnight but really can’t complain about anything given how cheap the price was. The rooms and bathroom were reasonably clean. The receptionists were helpful and kind. The location is amazing and I was lucky enough to have respectful and hygienic roommates. Would use again for short 1 night stays. Served its purpose. Just note that it’s £3 for a blanket and you need to have your own toiletries (toothpaste, bar soap etc). I think they provide shampoo and conditioner? But not too...

"All good"

"Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel"

"Great stay, friendly staff, good location for walking and cycling trips, easy to access the Mostral trail"

"Nice lounge to relax and read. Breakfast was great quality, lots of choice and good coffee! We booked a private room with ensuite which was in the barn annex. This was basic, but ok, but the heating wasn't working in that building. Soaking wet after 20mile walk. Staff eventually moved us to another private room, 4 bed, in the main building. On arrival at 5pm was told to order dinner before 6.30pm as there was a large group booked in at 7pm. So we did at 6.00pm only to be told the chef was now...

"Excellent place to stay with a family, our 3,6 and 11 year olds loved the outdoor spaces, the gardens and play areas are fantastic and the lounge areas are also great for families. The room was a good size and the dining room had great food at decent prices, esp as kids eat for £1! You can walk directly from the hostel to many different paths into countryside or dovedale. Our family loved this place, I highly recommend it."
