"I had a good night's sleep, although I did request 2 single beds for myself and my daughter, but arrived to a king size bed. I was concerned about the noise that the neighbours were making when they returned to their room, as they must have opened and closed their door around 10 times for some reason."

"Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. "

"This property was absolutely perfect for us. We only stayed 1 night, unfortunately! The kitchen was very well equipped & we made use of it by making a meal when we arrived after 7pm. We sat outside to eat as it was a lovely evening. There were some nice touches e.g. chocolate cake (which was delicious), pint of milk, butter, 2 x 1L juices, bottle of wine etc.
