"I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The interior has a cozy, welcoming feel with soft lighting and warm tones, and the rooms are both comfortable and practical. Small details like the layout, outlets by the bed, and well chosen furniture make it easy to settle in. The gym is also much better than what I usually see at hotels, with enough machines and weights for a proper workout. What makes the biggest difference, though, is the service. "In the 'real' Shanghai beneath the high-rise buildings, seeing people as they go about their day, back from main roads. AC was a it strong, especially in the bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Tao and May. Some maps/brochures/helpful tourist information would be good. I would recommend this place to anyone."
