Best value in the heart of Nanjing road. Just accross are all the shopping areas and malls. Very modern and clean. Staff is veey accommodating and very communicative in English. Breakfast is also great with a variety of Chinese and some Western influence.

We had a great stay in Elong Hotel. The room was well equipped with comfortable pillows, plenty of bottled water and free drinks in the minibar. Breakfast spread was good and the free noodle supper was a delight. There’s free flow of coffee and tea at the lobby. Conviently located near the Nanjing Pedestrian Street and close to 2 main subway stations. Many restaurants near the hotel. Front office staff were helpful and friendly.

Staff were very nice and friendly. The location is great if you want to be centre of city, next to Nanjing Rd and 500m to the waterfront Bund walkway. The property is clean. It’s older and doesn’t have a ton of amenities but it is value, the price is great for this location and it’s clean with great staff. I will be back.

Room is spacious. Breakfast was good. Supper was average. Good location, just adjacent to Nanjing east road. Staff at counter was impatient, could not wait for customer to finish enquiry. Deliveries were not promptly delivered. Rider left items on shelf and awaiting to be despatched to room by robot. However, on 3 occasions out of my 4 deliveries order, I had to collect my own items after waiting for more than 45mins. I thought staff was busy. But there was no guest at counters and there was even a lady standing next to the shelf and both robots were idling at the side. If they cannot despatch the orders, they could minimum inform guest to collect their items. Breakfast vouchers had to be collected from counters on a daily basis. Which is rather inconvenient. To think guest had to get vouchers before allowing to dine? Perhaps vouchers could be given according to the dates of stay, that is, one breakfast vouchers stating the date of stay. It would reduce the hassle of guests having to ask for it and staff having to print the vouchers. Personally I feel that it is quite insulting to be collecting vouchers for food, it felt like some ration vouchers where price for food was already included in the room charges.
