All good except for the internet speed

Excellent hotel (clean and good size for the room), very good service, close to subway station and a little shopping mall. Only negative point: internet was too slow.

The hotel has a very dated feel to it. I was really looking forward to enjoying the pool after a morning of meetings but felt incredibly uncomfortable going there with 3 male lifeguards who insisted I wore a swimming cap. I went for 10mins in the end and never went back. Probably would have been ok if there was some music or something. My room had a kitchen but there was only a cup and glass to use with the kettle and fridge. No cutlery, no spoons so it was completely pointless to have. The room was spacious and a good space to work from. The cleaner came really early each day so I had to remember to turn the bell off and hang the 'Do not disturb' banner on. I liked the morning Shirley Temple dispenser

Hotel is a little dated to be a 5 star. Maybe it was 20 years ago. It needs a good revamp and re modeling done. The tv was so old and so was the carpeting and fixtures. Location was good though. Had a new square with restaurants just behind the hotel.

The hotels WiFi doesn’t allow you to use the WiFi while having your vpn on. Something to consider bc then you can’t use many of the sites u want to use. Mattress is as hard a rock, got bruises on the sides sleeping on the mattress. The breakfast was good, the lunch dinner buffet was really good. If you’re a fan of seafood they have all type of lobster crayfish clams squid. Some of the dishes are adventurous with squid mixed in with pasta and shrimp on pizza. They had an amazing tender lamb shoulder they cut, as well as unlimited lamb chops in great sauces the beef and chicken tacos were great too

Great Hotel for First Time in Shanghai!!

The Doubletree by Hilton Pudong was such a nice hotel. We were only there for two nights but loved the service, the amenities, and the location. The room had an amazing view of the city. It was very spacious and clean. Definitely recommend the breakfast buffet as it is very convenient, reasonably prices and has lots of variety of foods.
