"Very clean, perfect location with great views."

"We travelled mid- September. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient for walking the town or accessing hiking trails. The view from the guesthouse is fabulous. The host was on site when we arrived and back again in the morning which was nice. The kitchen and eating area were fabulous. We had the opportunity to do our laundry. We had a room upstairs and there was one WC and a separate shower area. There was a second shower downstairs. Bonus points for a great coffee machine...

"Easy checkin. Great, convenient location with easy parking. We were able to see northern lights from the park across the street. Room was clean. Be aware a little warning if you are sensitive to damp scent, but it was not at all bothersome to our stay. We had a great time and would recommend!"

"I appreciated the very clean room and pristine facilities. They also have guest laundry, not too expensive, but be aware of location on far side of building so you may need to walk outside in pouring rain to use it. I got lost in that weather trying to find my way back to the room in the dark. But a different staff person assisted me next time, let me cut through the inside of the building. The first staff could have made sure I got back to my room safely on that stormy dark night. The weather...

"This is such a wonderful spot to stay! Especially if you are traveling between Hofn and Husavik. Its a bit out of the way but well worth the visit. The rooms are newly renovated and the hotel provides free towels, breakfast, and has coffee and/or tea available at all hours. The staff is extremely sweet and even gave us a room tour upon arrival. Highly recommend."
