"Beautiful room with almost everything you could wish for. My only gripe was the only mirror in the room to do hair and makeup was in the hall/alcove between bathroom and bedroom. Needed a mirror over the dressing table. However I always travel with an extension lead so I survived. Really would recommend."

"Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after.

Breakfast, a full platter of everything, after home made granola compote.... set us up for the day.
A super cosy comfortable bed, we slept, ate and rested well.... A wonderful team of staff looked after us, and our dog. We loved, .... loved our stay"

"Thoroughly enjoyed my 24 hours here, every staff member was super friendly and helpful.. I came very unprepared forgetting my toothbrush & phone charger but they had both covered with a smile.. was really impressed with the food (3 ladies all really enjoyed our meals), spa was nice with pool, steam, sauna and jacuzzi / hydro pool. It’s all a little dated overall but you can use it for the rest of the day even after you check out! Rooms came with irons (always a bonus), tea / coffee & biscuits,...
