"When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

"totally fantastic stay at this absolutely gorgeous property. the welcome was warm, the room comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the property grounds and views amazing. the breakfast was amazing - the best we had on our trip through Normandy. everything was delicious and fresh. definitely recommend staying here, it was positively enchanting."

"We waited 15 minutes to check in while the front desk clerk was outside taking a break. Our questions about the WiFi were met with rudeness rather than an attempt to help. The gate code was illegibly written so it took us ten minutes to decipher and get through the gate. Five minutes before check-out time someone banged on the door like the building was on fire. "Nice property. This old building is a reasonable walking distance to the downtown and the burger place right beside it is 10/10! The four person room was great as the two twin beds are upstairs in a loft area. The kids got their own space to spread out. The beds are hard, but clean. Bathroom was a good size and as expected. Obviously, no AC but they provided fans on each level."
