"It’s about 20 minutes from the pier and the main town, but honestly, everything on the island takes 20–40 minutes to reach by motorbike. "This property is on the most beautiful beach in the area. White sand beach leads to turquoise ocean with snorkelling right off the beach. The staff is warm and welcoming and our deck was 3 feet from the pool which overlooks the ocean a few steps below. It is located in a small quite village with many small restaurant but if you want more action many of the restaurants in Canadista will give you a ride there and back or you can have a driver take you for $4-5."

"Stayed for 8 nights in a deluxe villa - everything was great. Few things were or broke down during our stay, but all were handled immediately. Food was good, the list being pretty long - they had a daily recommendation, so we followed that. Staff was super helpful and helped us find things to do. Got transported from and to airport by them and the driver managed to get us safely through the somewhat chaotic traffic. Would definitely recommend and will come back. "

"I loved my stay here. It was a beautiful space and the staff were so kind. I was able to do a diving trip with them and it was an amazing experience. My one thing I didn’t love was that the bathroom, which is separate from the main room, did have a lot of small ants on the counter. "After 2019, we stayed again in Villa Sasoon for 5 days in September 2022. it was like covid never happened. the villas are still in very good condition and the nice staff is still on board. "This place is excellent value for money. The rooms are very nice and very clean with amazing views of rice fields and Agung. It is out of the main tourist area and no close by dining options. You really need a scooter if you stay here which was easy to hire at the accommodation. "I didn’t even stay at it and what I paid was lost, the property was so dirty and unsafe. There was a dog entering the pool. Mosquitos everywhere. No communication around the area and the wifi wasn’t working. The furniture is so old and bathroom is dirty with no toothbrushes, shampoos, conditioners.. etc. the pictures were so fake and I hope I can get my money back as I went to another hotel and didn’t sleep there at all."

"Loved our stay at SeaBreeze Candidasa! Honestly, the pictures of the ocean-front resort property does not do it justice. All I wanted to do was spend time on loungers, cabanas, in the pool, or snorkeling. Our room was clean and comfortable, which is pretty much all you need when the rest of the time you're out enjoying the property. The restaurant was great and had so much variety - we ate five meals and ordered different things every time. While we could have spent each day at the pool, the fact that there is snorkel access is pretty amazing. The staff were super pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to come back here - great value for what you're paying."

"This is not at all a takeaway from the hotel, but there are a lot of stairs and it is pretty much impossible to avoid them. The staff will help you with your bags so you don’t need to do any heavy lifting. If that’s something that doesn’t work for you, consider other hotels. Perfect hotel that’s right on Amed Beach. Temper your expectations for luxury because it is a quiet little fishing town and pretty much the only thing to do there is snorkel and scuba dive that doesn’t take away from the facilities at all, but don’t expect a Marriott. Absolutely beautiful property with multiple pools and stunning views. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. The spa on site is amazing, we got a couple’s massage and honestly, it was the best massage I’ve ever had for a fraction of the price that you will get at home. Restaurant has very good food, and there are countless little cafés and restaurants you can walk to along the street. Have cash on hand if you venture out of the hotel for food. ATMs are known to be unreliable in Amed so make sure you stock up before you arrive. I didn’t have any problems with them, but I’ve read that other people have. If you do use an ATM in the area make sure you use one that is inside one of the convenience stores and not a freestanding one, as those will possibly skim your card. "
