Clean rooms, authentic housing and bedding. My back felt so good after sleeping on the traditional bedding. Appreciated the location in relation to the town and restaurants as well the hairdryer and access to electricity. Wonderful view of the garden/fountain, so peaceful. We did not elect for the breakfast as we preferred to explore the area and also prefer a western breakfast. Would stay here again and recommend to our friends!
Great traditional hanok style property with modern amenities. Only the shower was a bit awkward since it's above sink and hard to reach for short people and kids.
This was a quiet and cute place to stay. Love the historical origional look and feel to the hotel. Nice staff to help and explain things in the area. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Jeju!
This was such a cute little place to stay. We were looking for a tour of the island without having to go back into the city and the front desk staff were very helpful in finding us an English speaking guide.
There’s not a lot around to walk to as far as restaurants go, but we did partake in the 2 closest ones to our hotel and both restaurants were excellent.
Clean room, authentic hanok experience, bedding is standard futon mattress although we have tried other accommodations that have thicking futons which made an even better experience.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Easy check in with very friendly staff. Really love the hanbok experience too. Highly recommend it especially if it’s your first time visiting Korea.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The hanok was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed.
The staff was helpful and nice. Because their English wasn’t strong, they used translation apps which made the communication easy.
The facilities like the laundry and gym were nice, and it was very convenient to have a small hotel-owned convenience store in the lobby.
The hotel’s placement was not too far from the centre of Seogwipo, but it is more convenient to have a car. They also had their own parking lot, which made it easy.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hallagung. Waking to the beautiful morning view from the windows was great and the garden was well maintained. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Hotel grounds are pretty & staff were friendly. They upgraded us to traditional hanok room after the one we booked flooded due to a clogged toilet.
We booked this hotel for the hanok experience, and it didn’t disappoint. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay.. We loved the traditional architecture and beautiful interior design.
Clean rooms, beautiful hanok accomodation with very helpful staffs.
There was a free hanbok wear for 1h free, which was a nice bonus to our booking.
Coin laundry with elevators was also a very nice bonus.
It was so nice to get a traditional Hanok for the three nights we stayed at the place. It was also very convenient to walk to the waterfalls and the street market. The staff was super nice and helpful.
Gorgeous property and room. The front desk staff were very kind and helped us order takeout twice. The only limitation is that it’s about a thirty minute walk minimum to the nearest restaurant area, which is only a minor inconvenience. We loved our stay!
