"Lovely, spacious airy room, with a quaint style, a huge copper freestanding bath is in the room, room for two, such a delight! There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. Large sea kelp toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash ,bubble bath etc. Generous selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate & complimentary watercomplimentary eco- friendly. "A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. "

"Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location."

"The room was very clean. The building itself is very old but is kept in a very clean condition. The staff were friendly, attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good as there was so many gluten free options to choose from and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was at the back of the hotel and felt safe at all times. This is an Ideal location for visiting the town with so much choice of places to eat. "
