Saubere, sehr moderne Wohnung in Selfoss. Supermarkt ist nicht weit entfernt. Sehr ruhig und doch alles gut erreichbar.

The self checkin process was easy. The room was clean with nice amenities. Nice location- walkable to restaurants. Apartment had a strong paint smell.

Mycket fint och välstädat. Fullt utrustad kök (utan mikrovågsugn dock), med bestick, porslin, kaffemaskin, rymlig kyl och frys. Fräscht och fint badrum. Sköna sängar. Smidigt med parkering precis utanför och nära till restauranger och affärer. Rekomenderas!

Appartement agréable. Literie excellente. L emplacement est superbe. À deux pas du centre. Le parking facile. Équipement cuisine à compléter. Pas de mugs, par exemple, pas de produit de première nécessité comme le sel et le poivre. On remarque bien que l appartement n est pas privé.

Brand new, sparkling clean, and set up with a lot of thought to detail. The kitchen has an induction stove and oven, dishes, fridge, washer, etc, all fully modern. Two comfortable bedrooms, well designed bathroom with a washer-dryer (Tide pods supplied). TV with streaming services, but no local TV. Located right in the centre of Selfoss with everything a short walk away. I couldn't have asked for a better resting spot.

Property is in nice location, well maintained, away from traffic noise well suited for family stay. Customer service is very delayed, the suggested contact method is messaging through WhatsApp. It takes several hours sometimes more than a day to get response. We had issue with internet, it tool more that 2 days to fix in our 5 night stay. We reported problem with Dryer on day 3, never got response back

We rented a car from Blue Car rental and the drive to Aska Selfoss was about 45 minutes to 1 hours from Sky Lagoon, our first stop once we landed at about 7:00 am to relax and rejuvenate before check-in at 15:00 pm. The place was excellent with very comfortable beds. They have all the amenities including a full kitchen to save money by not eating out all the time and washer/dryer so we can bring less clothing. Note that the dryer in Iceland works differently from the USA as it collects water from your wet clothing to a container on the upper left corner that must be drained periodically. Otherwise, you may assume the dyer is broken as it will display a drain symbol on the digital display and the machine stops working. Overall, the location was convenient to many places up to a 1.5 hour to Vik. Although this location to diamond beach was about 4+ hours instead of 5+ hours from Reykjavík, it was still a little to far for 1 person to drive so we did not visit. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was in a great location, which we really appreciated during our first trip to Iceland. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing due to a few maintenance and communication issues. Upon arrival, we discovered an unpleasant odor coming from the dishwasher, which had leftover food inside, and the main bathroom light was not working. We reported both issues, and the host offered to come by to address them. However, since we were visiting Iceland for the first time and planned to be out exploring all day, we were not comfortable having someone enter the rental while we were away. We also ran out of toilet paper during our four-night stay for four people, as only three rolls had been provided. Since it was after business hours and we needed more, I purchased it ourselves. When I requested reimbursement, it was declined. I found this frustrating, particularly because there had already been limitations around addressing the maintenance issues outside business hours. I understand that unexpected issues can arise, and I appreciate that an offer was made to address the reported problems. However, I would have hoped for a more reasonable resolution regarding the basic supplies and reimbursement. Unfortunately, I am still trying to resolve this matter. While the location was excellent, the overall experience and the handling of these concerns fell short of our expectations. I hope the host takes this feedback into consideration for future guests.
