The sunsets at Mangia’s Torre del Barrone were very beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our family of four, with a lovely sunset view. We appreciated the clean and uncrowded beach nearby. Breakfast had a good variety, and the desserts were a highlight. We always enjoyed our dinners at Pizzeria Al Grano.

An absolute must if you are looking for somewhere to unplug and relax while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. This resort exceeded our expectations in service, accommodation and experience especially during their quiet season. Service: The staff is incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. Truly felt like a 5-star experience. Rooms: Beautifully decorated, clean, and wonderful views. Amenities: Pool is stunning (dont forget the beach chairs as well), gym is limited and gets the job done, and we looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread every morning (plus a view out to the ocean). The spa is also a really nice opportunity to unwind even more. Location: The resort is tucked away in a resort area, but Sciacca is ~10 min away by car and has great restaurants, stores + shopping. Overall, would come back here every year for holiday! Giordy and the whole reception team were wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay and were particularly impressed by the pizza class and calm beach area. The majority of staff were friendly, particularly in the areas we mentioned above. The only constructive feedback I would provide would be that the pool bar was not at the same standard. The club sandwich was soggy and service was often quite frosty in that area. As the resort is located in a small town, it would be good if more info could be provided on activities in the surrounding area Thank you again for taking care of us

We had a lovely stay in early October 2025. Our Junior Suite was amazing, large, appeared to have been recently updated, and had a fantastic view. The staff were lovely, despite the occasional language barrier. Pros: - Recently renovated pool area and breakfast area - Very relaxing adults only calm beach area with bar - Lovely private white sand beach area - Incredible room - Amazing breakfast selection + view Areas for improvement: - Lacl of streamlined way to order room service or make requests (not sure if because of off-season) - Bed was quite uncomfortable - Resort restaurants are unfortunately overpriced and shuttles to the local town are limited to daytime only (not sure if because of off-season) - €5 for fresh beach towels is just eco-friendly gone mad We were fortunate enough to get an off-peak price and were very satisfied with our stay but can see how the improvement areas we have listed may have had a greater impact on our overall impression had we paid a peak price.

All staff made our stay an excellent experience. From check in with Sabrina who gave us a tour of the hotel and explained how to effectively navigate its special hillside uniqueness, to Claudia and Cristina who attended to everyone of our questions and requests. Roberta who facilitated reservations to the restaurants and all terrace bartenders and servers who were welcoming and always kind and jovial. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in the many years of extensive travel but it is this staff that has made our stay so very special. Thank you.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Lots of visitors there with very unruly children screaming and crying. Parents made little attempt to control them. I had an issue with the A/C not working properly and had to settle for only some cooling. Also disappointing that I was unable to make reservations at their nice restaurant and had to eat on patio with a limited menu next to a bunch of smokers :-(

What an AMAZING place to stay! The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Sciacca. It is built into the Cliff side so you start on floor zero and go down to floor -6 for the pool. All of the staff is incredible and very helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and every room has an ocean view. Down on the bottom floor is an indoor & outdoor pool (with a bar and food service). 2 beaches: Calm Beach (adults only and Rocky) and main beach which is sandy and is much larger and has specific chairs for guests with umbrellas. They also have kayaks & SUPs that you can use for free. The ocean was crystal clear & the water was refreshing. There is a train that will take you down to the beach and runs every 15 to 20 minutes. 3 restaurants on site: a sushi restaurant, a pizzeria and a traditional Sicilian restaurant. The menus are all slightly limited, so check the menus before booking your reservations. We ended up going to Sciacca for 2 dinners and it was WAY better and less expensive. They also have a buffet, where you also get breakfast. AMAZING resort with incredible staff. We highly recommend Mangia’s to stay! We were an adult couple with boys 9 & 11 and my mother in law. Perfect for everyone and we all agreed we didn’t want to leave!!

Amazing place for families with kids. Interesting architecture of a 70's hotel well kept, updated and maintained. The bedroom had good quality mattress, good enough sheets, beautiful ocean views, the staff at front desk was extremely polite and kind, the breakfast its a party not to be missed and the place is family oriented were you feel comfortable to bring kids and even pets.

I liked this hotel very much. They have a spa that's clean and has a lot to offer. The bar, morning breakfast and restaurants were classy and comfortable. The only thing that a guest might not like is the strong sulpher smell coming from an outdoor thermal pool.

Our stay at the Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort was an absolute delight and a genuinely pleasant surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of the hotel, and we will certainly be back again. The staff were truly extraordinary, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our entire trip. A special thank you must go to Paulo, who looked after us at the pool restaurant with such wonderful service. The facilities were equally impressive. We particularly loved the two separate beach accesses—one private, adults-only area for quiet relaxation and another perfect for families with children. The food was consistently delicious, offering a fantastic culinary experience every day. The on-site spa was also incredible, featuring a variety of experiential areas and a massage staff who were excellent at their craft. In short, the entire resort was a wonderful surprise. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to return.
