We had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. Chris and Andy

Stayed here for one night while attending a show at the Open Air Theatre. It wasn’t the Ritz but for what we paid we weren’t expecting the Ritz! What we got was a nice clean room with what looked like a recently renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast, which we pre-ordered was freshly cooked and plentiful. The Open Air Theatre was a 15-20 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend The Albert for anyone looking for post-show accommodation

Suited us

Easy check in with private parking around the back of the pub. Big room with huge bed and everything you need. Ideal for our overnight stay in Scarborough. Friendly atmosphere and a fab breakfast.

Property really convenient placed, staff absolutely fantastic nothing too much trouble accommodation fitted the bill all basics provided clean and airy. The area around property a little run down lots of boarded up houses but the Albion more than compensated for that. Will definitely be staying again!!!

Lovely place to stay

Stayed at the Albert due to having a family wedding in Scarborough, check in was really quick, staff were helpful and friendly. Room was nice and the bed was so comfortable, lovely breakfast the next morning before check out. Will definitely be using again if we ever need to stay over again.

Scarborough overnight

Great pub stay, lovely room and great breakfast. This is a pub so there will be noise, fully expected this and it wasn’t an issue. The pub is lively clean and great value for food and drink. Definitely will re book when visiting Scarborough again.

Cracking weekend.

2nd stay this year, friendly owners and staff, extremely pleasant and polite. Stay was at the time of their tenth anniversary of being in the pub and even though the majority were friends and relatives we were made more than welcome even at the expense of us wanting to watch the rugby, it made the weekend. Breakfast fantastic, can't recommend the Albert highly enough Hope they enjoyed their break in Benidorm.

I travelled with friends to see a concert with an overnight stay. The Albert was brilliant… spacious rooms, with all amenities. Friendly welcome but not overpowering. Easily better than two hotels I’ve recently stayed in at Manchester for Concerts only earlier this month and literally half the PRICE… we will be returning for future events 💯 Absolutely OUTSTANDING VALUE FOR MONEY!

Good for one night

Beds are super comfy, the rooms have everything you need for a one night stay. I was expecting the pub noise to die down after it closed, but it didn't. Not sure if it was the room next door, or a late taste going on downstairs, but we were kept awake until 2.30ish. Walls so think you can hear the toilet activities of the people in the next room.

Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again.

Location is good 3 ms walk to north bay sea bank. Room is small as well as shower box. No modern or luxurious feel and breakfast time is only 1/2 hour. Ther was no sea view as stated in booking.
