"Just a one night away trip with a couple of days coastal walking. Very smart pub with rooms. In a superior room with high quality fixtures and fittings, very comfortable. Staff all very friendly with an excellent dinner menu and very good breakfast. Only minor issue was how quick dinner service was - would have preferred to have spent longer over our meal. Starter arrived very quickly and the main arrived before we had even finished our starter ! As I say however a minor issue in the overall...

"Lovely country pub. Large comfortable bedroom. Beautiful outdoor seating area/gardens. Had a couple of great local beers but did not eat. Super friendly landlord and locals."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. We had the option of a bath and shower which was nice. Rooms were quiet but we were on the upper floor. Nice that the restaurant was only across the car park"

"Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. "Lovely cosy and traditional pub / B&B. Staff are really friendly, food (dinner and breakfast) were great. Set in a quaint village and just a 20 min walk to the cliffs and an idyllic spot. "

"We had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate...
