Top Sarugakyo Onsen Hotel Reviews

Naeba Prince Hotel

8/10 Good

"A bit run down and since it was off season and mostly empty. At check the receptionist told me that breakfast was complimentary but when i went to the restaurant they said I would have to pay. So this kind of misrepresentation didn’t bode well with me."

Urakusatsu Tou

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel, with very attentive staff, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself very clean and comfortable."

Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Sakurai

10/10 Excellent

"The food is delicious and very varied. And the onsen bath was fantastic. They have access to a spring that makes your skin feel soft like cotton. Truly a lovely experience"

Oyado Konoha Kyoritsu Resorts

10/10 Excellent

"We had an absolutely amazing time here with my parents. I would love to come back. I’ve been to other Japanese hot springs/ryokan and this was the best one!"

Kanemidori

10/10 Excellent

"A very traditional Japanese hotel with thorough service, we had a very nice stay. Staff took care of swapping out the futon, alongside bus services to various parts of Kusatsu. The onsen was well maintained and also tattoo friendly!"

Hotel Futaba

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel in Yuzawa, which is a 90 minute Shinkansen ride from Tokyo. The onsen is nice too, highly recommend"

La Vista Kusatsu Hills

8/10 Good

"The hotel is very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and are quite big and well laid out. The views are ok, not extraordinary. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we still could not see any mountains but only roof tops of other surrounding buildings. There is free food and snacks available but only for a limited time. The dinner and breakfast was good but not great. The onsens are the highlight of this property."

Yukemurinoyado Yukinohana

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely Japanese style accomodation. Refreshing to see that shoes are off limits at the property and they provide good lockers for the shoes. Private baths and onsens are available for a soak after a day out to explore. Breakfast is good too though the timings of breakfast are a tad early but best way to start the day ! :)"

KAMENOI HOTEL KUSATSU YUBATAKE

8/10 Good

"Rooms are plain but clean. Excellent buffet food value. Nice common facilities."
