"This is our second time at Portofino, and it was excellent. Far enough away from the city to be quiet and peaceful. Close enough to get to great restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly and readily available at all times. Accommodations are clean and quaint. Their dive shop has everything you would want to do to experience the sea life and pristine waters. I recommend a dive or snorkeling adventure with Kris. The fresh coconuts with rum just down the road from Steve and Angel and Roddie’s cocktails at the bar. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

The host was incredibly personable, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of and that I felt right at home. "First off, if you're expecting luxury accommodations here, you're in the wrong place. But if you're looking for a clean, courteous, and sometimes quirky little place at a good price, the Hotel Martin should suit you fine. Rooms are modest, but comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the patio is a great place to spend an afternoon overlooking Corozal Bay. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants, at the town is very friendly. And Dakota the hotel dog will sit quietly at your feet, wanting occasional belly rubs. Overall, a great value for the money. "

"My care takers, Yvonne and Norman is what made my stay at North beach the most memorable! They treat their guest like family and make sure you are safe and fed with their home made authentic Belizean breakfast. Any issue I had they took care of it immediately. They kept me informed of any specials around the island and even invited me out to drinks and wings on my last day there. The retreat itself is so beautiful. the beachfront looks like a photo straight from a postcard. It is Amazing watching the sunset and sunrise! Norman keeps the grounds well kept and clean. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing stay this is the place to be. I cannot wait to come back to Belize and see my good friends again!!!"
