Very warm and friendly hosts! The home is beautiful and spotless with a lovely back terrace for breakfast dining, or just relaxing with views overlooking Sarlat-la-Caneda. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved this beautiful guesthouse and our gracious, welcoming hosts. Nelly’s jams and Franck’s yogurt were a delight at breakfast. If you are staying in Sarlat, try to stay here. It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet.

We had a great stay at La bayardine. Our studio was lovely, very clean and had all the facilities anyone could need. Lovely quiet location just outside of busy Sarlat owned by a welcoming couple. Access to the yard, the deck, and a kitchen area for guests is all lovely! Quick drive into the old ville for restaurants etc but nice to retreat to the quiet surroundings of La Bayardine. Wonderful breakfast on the terrasse!

A great find!

A little tricky to find at first, but well worth It! Nicest hosts, most delicious breakfast (especially that homemade yogurt) and attention to detail make for a comfortable stay. Sarlat really is just 5 minutes by car, but you’ll sleep blissfully well at this lovely quiet B&B.

Franck and Nelly are very kind hosts: we arrived late in the morning and nevertheless they gave us the opportunity to get the room. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jam and cakes. La Bayardine is a peaceful place where you can relax yourself, have good time and visit wonderful villages. We really recommend this B&B: grazie Franck and Nelly!

We have really enjoyed our 2-day stay in La Bayardine. We are very thankful for Nelly and Franck for opening their home to us and welcoming us in the warmest way. The room was very spacious and we had a great view of the bridge to Sarlat. The breakfast was outstanding and we enjoyed spending it with other guests. Frank and his wife are creating a peaceful beautiful B&B. The breakfast consists of homemade yogurt and preserves along with fresh croissants and/or baguette with fruit. Frank will prepare whatever cafe you wish with his deluxe machine. Our room was over the garden and filled with birds chirping in the morning. All delightful.

Such a great place to stay and wonderful hosts. The view from the terrace is stunning and so relaxing. Frank and Nelly were excellent Hosts. Beautiful home made yogerts and jams to go with other goodies at breakfast. Also what was great was you had a room with a fridge and sofa and table, microwave, so if you did not want to go out to eat you can do something yourself. La Bayardine was a great experience. We strongly recommend this stay. We had an unfortunate experience with a flat tire earlier in the day and Frank was extremely accommodating. We arrived around 9:30/10:00 PM. Frank personally called restaurants and drove us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The room was also incredibly clean and well decorated. Breakfast was also great; the yogurt was our favorite! Thank you again for a great stay and for being so helpful!
