This was my second time staying at this location. I stayed twice (and will probably stay again) because the building is very close to where I need to be in Sao Paulo, the price is right, and the units have the most important items that I need when I am in Sao Paulo. This is however not a hotel. It doesn't have a front office, you can't ask for extra towels or pillows, there is no one to help you with luggage, etc... which is ok if you know ahead of time this is not a hotel. What I don't like is that all communicatios with "Charlie" are AI assisted and through an app. The check-in process is also through an app and it is not simple. You need to submit documentation before arrival to avoid delays getting into the room.

I highly recommend this place. It is in an excellent location with many restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby. The communication was clear and the staff was extremely friendly. The apartment was well equipped, clean, and comfortable.

I have had the same towel and sheets for a week and they willingly change them if I pay them with a Brazilian credit card that I do not have this is disgusting.

Horrible experience, cancelled my room last minute

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! I received a message at 7:30 pm of the same day of the check-in, communicating they were cancelling my reservation, without any reason. They left me really without a room and a bed to stay in São Paulo and couldn’t find a solution. No any other room available in São Paulo for less than 500 USD per night at that days, and heather EXPEDIA offered me a solution.

Check-in was problematic. Firstly, the property sign reads "Residencial Newciti", no mention whatsoever of "Charlie". Secondly, the facial selfie that will consume ten minutes of your time to properly take and send for the online check-in process (that whole thing was quite the ordeal) does not function to get you past the facial recognition lock on the front gate, nor the one on the front door. We were let in by tenants who just happened to be entering. Thirdly, once inside, we told the man at the front desk that we had a reservation with Newciti Itaim by Charlie. He gave us a blank look and explained that only a few units were available as the building was a condo. We repeated that we had a reservation (my wife is Brazilian and I speak Portuguese, so no language issues) with Newciti by Charlie and it finally sank in. We provided him with our passports and then had yet another photo taken which would work with the facial recognition locks. We were also provided with electronic key cards to actuate the door lock for the apartment, which they unceremoniously wiped clean the next morning before we had vacated the apartment.

Only had 2 pillows not enough for 2, as any hotel it should have more pillows available. Didn't have an extra blanket, the kitchen very limited no stove only microwave and a very small bar fridge. AC old, very noisy and the bathroom although clean, due for renovation

Excellent option for the price. Location at the heart of the Itaim Bibi, the best place to be in São Paulo. Communication only via WhatsApp is very annoying. No option to speak over the phone with Charlie, who is the property manager. This is the only big negative. Safes at the rooms don't work

Good accommodations but poor customer service. There is no one on-site who can make changes to the reservation or answer questions about the reservation. Check in is automated via an app, which can be convenient, until you need to talk to someone. Frustrating.

I didn't like that they didn't send me the check in instructions like I was expecting. It was complicated for me connecting with my phone when I arrived and check-in instructions weren't there. They promote a swimming pool which is not the case, it's just a small pool. TV wasn't working though I asked for assistance with it.

A Hidden Gem in Itiam

This has been my home for over 22 years so I seen the changes and where it presently at. Location is excellent, glad to see some of old staff from teenagers to adults like Manuel, missed the old restaurant but super glad the deck is reopen for smokers. If you want to live like a Paulista stay here. Staff is patient for non speaking Portuguese guests such as myself. You get the vibes and feel of Itiam being three easy walkable blocks from the bars restaurants grocery stores etc. My flight got cancelled United Airlines put me up at a 5 star Pullman Hotel- very nice but too corporate and catering to tourist high rollers. It’s all business. If you prefer the tourist route go to Pullman Emiliano etc, it’s simple here at Citi-Flats like how the locals live. Shower pressure strong, refrigerator works, room temp controls good, toilet a little tricky sometimes flush twice. TV normal had to ask Manuel to show me how again. Walls a bit thin hear your neighbors talk or their cellphones ringing- construction repaving the driveway noise but that’s real city life. Cleaning staff always friendly and helpful especially when I get up super late. For 59 USD per night a hard deal price wise to beat. Miss the free breakfast when it was a Ramada but Mr Baker half a block up for eggs and açaí!! For me it’s my home away from home for 22 years.

O quarto estava limpo, o banheiro é antigo (digo pq o silicone do box tem manchas pretas, o forro de gesso tem umas fissuras no bwc), o espaço todo é funcional, lençóis bons. A localização é maravilhosa. Tem muitas opções de alimentação próximo e você se sente muito seguro no bairro. Nosso quarto era fundos, então achei silencioso. O ar condicionado foi um grande problema - não gelava e meu marido que é mais encalorado não dormia, e por conseguinte ninguém dormiu bem. Reclamei após a primeira noite mas não foi dado solução, então somamos duas noites muito mal dormidas.

ior experiência que já tive em sp. Apesar de a localização ser boa, a experiência foi péssima. Apto extremamente velho. Sujo. Tomadas quebradas, tudo mofado. Limpeza péssima. Sofá nojento, que eu não tive coragem de sentar. Vim para passar 2 noites. Cheguei no apto 12h, o vaso sanitário estava entupido, e as roupas de cama sujas. Reclamei e disseram que mandariam a manutenção. Retornei ao apto às 21h. Nada tinha sido resolvido. Eu só queria deitar e dormir, mas não tinha como. Reclamei novamente e quase 1h dps me arrumaram outro apto. O primeiro era nota 0, o 2º nota 4. Não recomendo pra ninguém. Aborrecimento certo. Mas o pior de tudo, apagam comentários no Instagram, e oferecem para os influenciadores os aptos top. Falta de caráter e propaganda enganosa. Nunca mais
