The only positives of this hotel was that the wifi actually worked most of the time, there was a TV that I could use in the room and connect it to my YouTube account, the room was fairly cheap on average, and I was close to Calle El Conde, a major shopping and tourism street in Santo Domingo. That’s where it ends. The worst was having a broken toilet seat, which was painful when I used it, the area, despite being a few blocks from Calle El Conde, was rundown in a few spots, the door was locked during the night, plus it took awhile for the clerk to open it, the shower was busted, and while it did supply me with hot water, enough to clean my body, it was still unsatisfactory for a decent hotel, and the biggest was lots of mosquitos and flies have bitten my body, mostly on my arms. Also, I’ve spotted lizards running into my room. While the hotel overall wasn’t the worst, it wasn’t the best either, and I can only recommend using this hotel for only a couple days until you can find much better or more decent accommodations. I wouldn’t recommend for long term periods of 5 or more days.
This place is very affordable, has a great location and has excellent staff. Melissa is helpful and more than a hotel clerk she’s an amazing host.
The facilities need some work, but for the price, it’s well worth it.
If you’re visiting the colonial area, it’s a great choice if you plan to spend time looking at the sights, it’s fairly close to a lot of historic sites.

Three day get out the hills stay, and it was productive, clean and mostly quiet...apparent small plumbing issues, but Loved the internet speed...THE BEST!
The photos give a false impression
Its a low clas hotel
The cleaning ladies are very friendly
The male receptionist /security is not
Grossly overpriced
I have stayed here with pleasure on two previous occasions, yet each time at check in the manager could not locate my reservation and this time was no different, he is not even familiar with Hotels.com, yet this time when I stayed there was no internet working hardly at all, almost non existent, which is one of the primary reasons I choose this location, also there is no cable or tv or nothing in the room to keep your attention. AC was fine, room was clean, I had to go out to another room for bathroom facilities. I was not pleased this time primarily for lack of internet services, and it cost me to lose money.
The hotel is in a great area. Two blocks away from El Conde Avenue. All tourists areas are in walking distance. The hotel is in a great location, its just lacking cleanliness. But if you're going to sight seeing all day its a great place. The evening staff was very nice and attractive.
This place is affordable, conveniently located, and best of all the staff is amazing.
Melissa—the main host—is attentive, friendly, and very considerate.
The pool and spa are offsite, but the jacuzzi is relaxing.
The facilities do need some work, but for the price is worth it.
This will be my go to place when staying in the colonial zone.
Great location, great price, but needs some attention to details. And it needs to have good water service most of all. Shouldn't be open to guests without an effective water service in the bathrooms.
The hotel is very basic, the walls are dirty, the floors are in poor condition, and the bathroom is in very bad condition. It must be said that the hotels in the area are just as bad, only the 120 USD hotels have better conditions.
