So, even during the week, but especially on the weekends, it’s noisy late. The area of the teatro and the square is fairly impoverished: plenty of vagrants, stray dogs, but despite its appearance, it is probably more convenient and fun than other, cleaner locations. Lots of necessary services available, along with street vendors most of the day, various events in the square and around the teatro, and of course the bars/restaurants, many with very good food reasonably priced.
