Lovely hotel

Had a lovely stay at this hotel - the staff are super friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. The hotel is very conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. The only downside is that most of the sunbeds are in the shade for a lot of the day due to the layout of the pool but that was fine for us! We would definitely stay there again.

I could go on and on about our stay at Melia Cala D’Or! We have never been to Mallorca and we are so grateful we found this perfect little hotel. The staff are so kind and I could not believe all the different languages they are able to speak. Anything we needed they were able to accommodate or help with and were so nice scout it. We loved the location and size of the hotel as it was away from a lot of the big hotels and much quieter and more relaxing but everything was within easy walking distances including 3 different beaches, shopping, and lots of food options. The breakfast was delicious with an incredible view. It was just so peaceful in what can be a very busy, noisy, and touristy location. We walked by so many other hotels and they were much more of a party atmosphere or large couples and Melia Cala D’Or was so different from that. It is very family friendly, and honestly great for all ages. If you are from the states, I do recommend asking for a mattress pad on your bed before arrival as the beds are much firmer than we are typically used to without it. When we asked about it after our first night, they put one on and we were good to go. Also a special shout out to Vera at the front desk, she was amazing and so helpful. They all were but Vera was there during most of our stay and we appreciated all her kind help. We hope to return again!

Staying at this hotel was the best experience. It was clean, beautiful, lovely breakfast, in a great location (easy walk from the beach and SPAR) and lastly unbelievable customer service. A big shout out to Sergio and Stefan for their kindness and assistance with everything - thank you so much.

Excellent room and pool area. Nice chilled out atmosphere. Reception team and staff were professional and couldn’t do enough to help. However Disappointed that parking was an extra cost, there is some on street parking nearby. My partners birthday while we were away and complimentary cava and cake was a special touch

The property was cute. There are two pools, one being 24 hours and a restaurant on the property. The room is a little outdated. The tub in the bathroom is too high, often causing leaks. It feels a little dark in the room with not alot of natural lighting. Nevertheless, the staff was amazing and had good suggestions upon check in.

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful - especially Stefan who works at the reception desk. The pool area was gorgeous and immaculately clean. Service at the pool area was quick and friendly, although the cocktails were lackluster. We were also surprised to find out that the indoor jacuzzi wasn't kept warm. But if you're visiting Mallorca in the summer like we did, that probably doesn't matter much. The hotel is located a walkable distance to local coves/beaches and the city center with many shops and restaurants nearby. The marina is also technically walkable but a bit of a hike. Overall an amazing experience that I highly recommend!

Room was large and well equipped. Updated HVAC and very comfortable. The property location cannot be beat! Walk to all the Cala and action in town. Great for any traveler- families, girls trips, couples, etc.! Pool area was lovely and the breakfast included was a major plus!

The staff is exceptional. Stefan was extremely helpful provided the feeling that we are at home. And Isabel at breakfast was always attaining everyone , going above and beyond with requests and just great energy. The staff provides excellent service and it is not overwhelming. Easy going, friendly, helpful and loved the stay here. Would recommend to anyone going to Cala Dor.

Our stay was pleasant. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. The hotel had all the facilities of a 5* hotel, but I would not classify it as such. The gym and spa were small and very dated. I booked a mani/pedi but they did not have the appropriate facilities for this. The food was fine, but I also felt it did not live up to other 5* properties.

Luxury hotel, nr to beaches, marina & shops

A quiet luxury hotel, staff very attentive, rooms air conditioned, beautiful swimming pool. Stayed for 1 week from 13/7, outside main school holidays.
