Some reviewe have mentioned this place feels dated - but i found it wonderful and quite the bargain. Huge room, very modern bathroom, mattress fine, clean as can be. Very helpful and friendly staff - especially Santiago at front desk. The carpets are worn, but other than that it is a gem. You would pay 3x the price to get such a spacious bathroom and room in a more modern hotel. Outstanding location

Comfortable and ideal location

Really lovely period hotel in an excellent position 2 minutes walk from the beach. The only thing that could improve the room would be the addition of complementary tea & coffee making facilities, including a kettle!

The hotel is in a wonderful location, I previously stayed there many years ago, and I enjoyed my stay. I enjoyed my stay now of course, the hotel is little dated but still nice

One of the best old charm hotels

Excellent hotel, old charm very clean excellent location near supermarket and restaurants, huge room with separate sitting area (like a studio Apt). 3 breakfast options from a low €3, one of the best hotels we have stayed in, I hope to come back

Ok for a very short stay .

arrived but they didn't have action bedded room & according to them were fully booked so ended up with another single bed in the lounge of the suite ..room on 1st floor was noisy so was the air conditioning, basic furniture and condition is a bit dated , breakfast was very basic ..

Good overnight hotel after ferry UK to Spain

Very helpful reception.I needed help with my bicycle and staff put it in secure place.Very willing to make phone enquiries for me in Spanish to book train tickets. Breakfast buffet very good.Hotel a little hard to find but in beautiful place opposite Sardinero beach. A good place to stay overnight when coming off the ferry.Spotlessly clean with a wide range of free toiletries.

Imagine a luxury hotel that was not upgraded or renovated for 20 years…. Rugs in the halls are begging to be changed. So called pillows I would not give my enemies! The bathroom facilities almost worked each with its own issue. But the worst thing that this 4 star hotel doesn’t have no coffee station or kettle provided. If you want to have tea in the evening you are out of luck. I wouldn’t recommend it

La verdad es que está muy cerca de la playa y de muchos sitios para comer. El personal es muy atento. Lo que sí ocurre es que es un hotel un poco antiguo pero la ventaja es que las habitaciones son muy grandes y el baño también

La cama era excesivamente pequeña, de 1,05. Me dijeron que había otras en habitación individual un poco más grandes de 1,20 pero que estaban ocupadas. Podía cambiar a una doble de uso individual con un coste suplementario.
