"During our stay an anniversary gift from myself to my wife was stolen from our room by a member of the housekeeping team. When I raised this with the hotel they didn’t want to accept this and were adamant we had lost the gift. Eventually they said they would investigate and promised to update us…needless to say we are still waiting! Definitely never staying there again! We strongly advise anyone to avoid this hotel as there thieves operating in it!"

"We stayed 2 nights here and were not very pleased with our stay. We got a basement room that had a window that was blocked by a wall and right next to our room they were doing construction so early morning you got a hammer drill wakeup. No iron in your room, half a toilet roll and small little bottle of shampoo and conditioner, pretty disappointing at a 4 star hotel rating.
They do have a small pool on the 4th floor but with so many guests it is pretty crowded as you had small kids also trying...

"Hotel Amadeus is a fabulous property! The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I arrived well after the scheduled check-in time due to multiple flight delays and cancellations, but they were kind enough to make arrangements for my late arrival without any issues.

"The room was clean and well maintained with good quality toiletries and a range of things available such as toothbrushes, razors etc. The room had a coffee machine which was lovely and each room has a nice balcony overlooking the street. As you walk into the hotel it smells really lovely. "Après un charmant accueil, ce fut le désenchantement car la chambre premium attribuée était attenante à l'ascenseur et non insonorisée en conséquence d'où un bruit infernal durant toute la nuit. Nous avons contacté la réception à 23h15 où il nous a été proposé des boules Quies, chose inacceptable. Enfin, insistant pour changer de chambre, ceci a été accepté pour le lendemain et les 6 nuits suivantes avec un courrier d'excuse. Le reste du séjour s'est très bien passé."

"Location: In the midst of Old Town. Nice neighborhood. Easy walking to all tourist spots.
Transport: Bus from airport has a stop at "Prado de San Sebastián". 10-15 minutes walk (half on the main road, half inside the old town) to the hotel.
Staff: Very friendly.
Breakfast: One of the best. Plus they have left-overs for the rest of the day."

"The hotel is in the old town so EVERYTHING is very convenient…..the taxi was unable to take us up to the front entrance but luckily our bags had wheels and we had a back pack as we were ok walk a few streets to the entrance.
The staff are unbelievable…extremely professional and friendly and a very nice touch of refreshments hot and cold at reception available all day … the water with ice and orange slices cooled us from the 40c heat.
The a/c worked very well and WOW what a breakfast selection...
