Service was excellent. When we arrived, we were greeted and shown around the property, assisted with the luggage and showed us to our room. For breakfast, we arrived a little early, but the waiter and kitchen staff accommodated us as we needed to head up the coast to the Monterey area. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast outside on the veranda. We would have loved to stay longer, but time did not allow.

Our stay at The Simpson House was wonderful. It has an upscale feel, but it’s warm and inviting. Best California hotel experience I’ve had. The property is secluded due to the surrounding hedges. True hospitality and timeless coziness. Great place to relax during any kind of weather. The wrap around porch is really special. I didn’t like the gas fire place as it made my whole room smell like gas and was scary to light. I wish the curtains in the main house had full privacy.
