"We had a great stay here. The views are simply amazing and the pool area is lovely to pass a relaxing few hours. We thoroughly recommend staying at Villa La Ventana for a wonderful place to explore both the Amalfi coast and Sorrento peninsula. You need a car to make the most of the location but well worth being away from the main tourist hustle & bustle. A friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay at this family-owned establishment from the three brothers who between them offer...

The location of this accommodation is not actually in Sorrento but in Sant’Agnello, which is about a 6-minute walk to the nearest bus station. Buses run every 45 minutes and cost €2, but if you opt for a taxi, be prepared for an overpriced fare of around €25.
If you have your own mode of transportation—like a bicycle, scooter, or car—this place is a great option. However, for those traveling on foot, it’s a bit of a long and slightly inconvenient walk.

"Wow, simply amazing from the start to the ride to the airport. We can’t express our thanks enough for the hospitality of the family owned and run Positano accommodations set on the side of the sea. Absolutely clean, safe and beautiful from the rooms to the breakfast we enjoyed every second. Oh yes, the owner is a Chef, so take advantage of a personal lunch or dinner, yummy. Hope to return someday. Thank you "

"What a nice boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and really focused on making sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was limited but delicious and the views from our room were great. There aaa plenty of places to eat close by and the beach was a quick walk. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Great location on the water within walking distance of restaurants and tourist stops and shops! The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. "
"Beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nice view overlooking the lemon trees and beautiful distance views. Beautiful 1 mile walk to main area in town.
Taxi ride to dock for boats to Capri and Ischa. Rooftop dry martini bar was spectacular and if it’s raining or too cool the dry martini bar first floor is beautiful. Pool area very nice with service. I gave this 4 stars ONLY because we asked for a coffe just to go as we missed breakfast by a few minutes. Reception went into ask whomever was in charge and they said no. Seemed like too simple of a request to not be honored and did not match any of accommodating staff we had dealt with . Sometimes it’s the little things that give the biggest impression"
"The room was okay overall. It was clean and fairly spacious, but unfortunately quite noisy. We could clearly hear guests in the rooms next to us and above, which was disruptive both at night and early in the morning. The shower was also quite small.
The location was a highlight, about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. It felt quieter than staying right in the middle, which suited us well.
We didn’t try the breakfast, but it is worth noting that only a continental option is available in the mornings, despite there being a restaurant on site.
This is a suitable option if you are simply looking for a place to sleep and shower, but do not expect much beyond that. One concern during our stay was that a staff member entered our room with a key while we were still sleeping, and no proper explanation was provided, which was odd."
"We spent one night here to catch an early flight . We were upgraded to a suite which was nice but this hotel had large bus groups and the restateabt was a disaster . Food was less than mediocre and dinner service was really slow . Breakfast was large buffet but carrots were ice cold and tasteless . Eggs awful . share to find a place to sit . Wouldn't stay here again ,"
"Amazing views. The shuttle service was exceptional as walking wasn't an option. Rooms are slightly dated but who cares when paradise is outside. Unreal that you can stroll to the beach and swim in ocean. Staff is very friendly ."
