Disappointing
My overall experience is disappointing. First of all my booking said: room with balcony, but I didn't get any balcony... The checkin was not so good, I was told they will send me a whatsapp when the room was ready and I never did. I activated my data just for that! Around 5ish I decided to go to the reception and ask if my room was ready since I didn't receive the message yet. The same lady that told me she will send me a message says: yes is ready, you have the key no? She clearly forgot to send me the whatsapp and instead of recognising it and apologising she got defensive. Also the experience I got when having breakfast was not so pleasant, the lady working there was clearly not so happy about her job and didn't have a problem sharing it with the clients. The 2 days I was there I just heard her complaining about how much work and that she had to do the rooms after breakfast. I was on vacation and I just wanted to relax, hearing someone complaining about the family business during my vacation is not what I was looking for...

Very beautiful property and pool. Excellent location to San Vito 5minutes. Tap water was terrible,non potable. Breakfast was excellent,although no cappucinos were available

Cala dell Arena is in a beautiful setting on a gorgeous ranch with gorgeous scenery. It’s very peaceful and relaxing for those wanting a quiet stay.

Beautiful grounds, near to an uncrowded (in October) small beach with surf and massive vertical cliffs behind the grounds. The little 2-bedroom apartment with a covered terrace was clean and very comfortable, lacking only an armchair or sofa. The kitchenette does not have ANY supplies, so dish soap, dish sponge and dish towels are up to you, as are all food supplies, including salt. But with the decent cookware supplied and it being Italy, you can make very good food on 2 only burners!

We didn't 'get' the set up of the place!
Great building in a lovely location and stunning grounds. We were in the main building where breakfast was delivered to the room every morning. When I say breakfast, we got coffee/tea and croissants were in a warmer at the end of the corridor! We did manage to ask for and get juice two out of four mornings. There was a breakfast area, but they only set one table and we never saw anyone at it. The pool was too small for 41 rooms and was crowded with kids, even though we went in school term time! With a bit more thought it could be a lot better.

really nice place to stay
me and my Wife had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. it is situated in gorgeous landscape. you can enjoy a sea view and a mountains. grounds of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. they do have a nice pool. there are plenty of restaurants in San vito lo capo or near by the hotel. ( the car is necessary THOUGH)

Great pool, basic apartment, not close to San Vito
The apartment was fine considering it was pretty cheap, it would have been nice to have a sofa or somewhere to sit, there was no TV but that was fine for us. The pool area is great with lovely views and the nearby beach is ok and about the only place you can walk to! The kids were happy there but I think that next time I would choose somewhere closer if we went back to San Vito area as always finding somewhere to park was tedious. the national park especially Scapello was lovely and we did leave the hotel 2 nights early as after 7 nights we were looking for something different.

Fab: between mountains & sea; beautiful pool
Flew into Palermo; straightforward drive to Cala dell'Arena through some lovely countryside and farmland (would advise rental of a car @ airport as public transport to Trapani may be variable). Hotel office staff spoke English (and applauded my poor attempts at Italian)- thank you Ilya & Vincento- were also able to recommend restaurants nearby and in San Vito lo Capo. Short driven to San Vito, or nearer, Castelluzo for food to cook in the apartment (self-catering though breakfast is available; we had it once- it was okay). Take mosquito repellent at this time of year! The hotel setting was stunning; laid out like an old village with stone paving and some very old (and some newer) pieces of antiquity. Lush with trees, flowers, cacti, etc (late May / early June). Also had the EXCELLENT pool all to ourselves the whole time we were there. Basic apartment interiors could use updating but very functional. No TV (which we preferred); wifi access only in the reception area. Ate many of our meals on the lovely patio. Would recommend nearby Pocho for a delicious set meal using local seafood & produce, and fantastic sunset (though service was slow on Saturday night- not too surprising). Do not miss the nearby nature reserve, Zingaro: a cave, some small museums dedicated to local life, lots of wild artichoke and other flowers, plants & trees, and hidden beaches- wow. We loved it.

A relax paradise during May
Having a car is essential to enjoy the full potential of this hotel Located in the outside of San Vito lo Capo, it allows you to have easy access to different towns like Trapani, Castellomare, Zingaro reserve, Erice and San Vito lo capo itself, all within a 50 mins drive. At the same time, at this time of the year it is really quite and tranquil although I would assume than during school holidays it can get a bit crowded. The receptionis only open until 8:00 PM but the staff really is friendly and helpful. Although the beach is not very close (about 1 km away) the view from the slopes to the cliffs on one side and to the bay on the other side, really makes up for the difference. Please keep in mind that the hotel does not count with a restaurant in case that you are looking forward to dinner in your room. Overall a fantastic relaxing-viewing experience.

The outside was charming and see view, sunsets were amazing. While the inside of the apartments was really disappointing - lightless, small, badly equipped kitchen and a pale blue chintzy colour scheme that feels bad. The apartments were clean, however there was no opportunity to order extra cleaning which was quite important for family with small child. We stayed here for 2 weeks and there was no laundry and no possibillity to send clothes to the wash. WiFi was working only outside in few places.

La struttura molto bella e collocata in un scenario veramente suggestivo, tranquillo. Il parcheggio facile ma praticamente al buio. Poco illuminato anche l'ingresso. L'accoglienza buona, la collazione buona ma potrebbe osare di più. MA LA COSA CHE TI FA DISPIACERE E CHE L'ACQUA CHE ESCE DAI RUBINETTI DEL BAGNO È SALMASTRA. INACCETTABILE. Capisco che la zona è carente di acqua, ma allora se vuoi riciclate l'acqua, fallo bene. Non puoi lavarti con l'acqua che sa di sale.

C'è da dire che sono stato ospite in un periodo tranquillo (seconda di settembre), molto silenzioso e tranquillo. Tramonti indimenticabili. La colazione poteva essere più generosa pur senza sprechi per 10 euro richiesti. Ma va bene. Contentissimo.

Un séjour en famille vraiment extraordinaire, le cadre est juste époustouflant de part la verdure, les arbres fruitiers, le couché du soleil, la piscine, l'accueil, vraiment rien à dire à part allez y les yeux fermés. Merci, ce fut des vacances formidables.

La struttura è spettacolare, incastonata tra le montagne , nel pieno rispetto del contesto naturalistico e con una vista mozzafiato sul mare. Molto tranquilla , silenziosa e ben curata. A piedi, anche con bambini, si raggiunge facilmente la spiaggia.Logisticamente è in un ottima posizione, lontana dal caos ma allo stesso tempo comoda , 10 minuti di macchina, ai servizi.

Belle propriété au calme à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Les appartements sont simples et un peu rustiques mais possèdent un coin cuisine équipé et un frigo. Nous avions une belle terrasse ombragée. Piscine et restaurant ( très bon) sur site. Le personnel est très aimable, parle français à l’accueil et est toujours prêt à rendre service. Parfait pour des vacances en famille plage/piscine.

Mi spiace aver dato 3 stelle, ma ho incontrato tanti piccoli difetti: Struttura bellissima veraemnte, in un posto incantevole a pochi km da spiagge favolose e immerso nella tranaquillità. Ma.....aria condizionata presente solo in una camera da letto..e gli altri?? Sublimano???? Finestra della cucina non apribile poichè il pensile della cucina la bloccava. Scola piatti che non è sopra il lavandino ma a lato, arredamento che sembra da montagna, doccia che non funzionava, lavandino del bagno intasato, colazione mediocre, personale senza una divisa anche semplice..... Insomma tante cose che mi hanno dato fastidio ed è un peccato perchè il posto è da 10, bellissimo davvero.

Ubicazione bellissima. Siamo stati alloggiati nella stanza del Gattopardo, davvero bella e confortevole. Magari poteva essere un po' più curato il bagno ed il frigobar, vuoto. Piscina, patio e porticati davvero belli. Necessiterebbe di più ordine e un po' più cura. Accoglienza sufficiente. Apprezzata l'attenzione della signora alla colazione. In sintesi: una location con un ottimo potenziale che però deve essere sfruttato bene.

Très beau domaine, Paolo est très sympathique et plein de bienveillance. Seul petit bémol, cuisine un peu ancienne et aucun matériel pour nettoyer (chiffon, éponge, produit vaisselle etc).

Arrivo alle 19,50 al check in e trovo chiuso. All'esterno mi accorgo che hanno lasciato un foglio ed una mappa con le indicazioni per trovare la camera (credevo ad uno scherzo). Struttura antica (molto bella) ma dispersiva con strade e stradelle buie ed in mezzo alla campagna.Finalmente arriva qualcuno che,vista la difficoltà,ci accompagna alla camera. Durante la notte,avendo sete,apro il frigo è mi accorgo che è vuoto !!! Nottata insonne per via della sete.Al check out,cerco di pagare con la carta,ma non c'è collegamento e fortunatamente mi trovo il contanti per saldare e richiedo la fattura del soggiorno,ma mi viene detto che bisogna attendere il direttore e quindi lascio i miei dati per l'invio tramite mail,ma la fattura ad oggi non è pervenuta.La colazione ricca ed assortita. Fate vobis.

Eden con vista fantastica sul golfo di Macari
La location sintrova a soli 5 minuti d’auto dalla rinomata San Vito Lo Capo ma immersa nel verde e lontano dal caos, si gode di un ottima vista sul golfo di Macari da dove si possono ammirare meravigliosi tramonti. Molto bella anche la piscina, colazioni abbondanti. Consiglierei solamente di tenere la reception aperta tutto il giorno. Per il resto tutto perfetto!

Die Lage des Hotels und die allgemeine Erscheinung der Anlage ist super. Wenn man dann aber genau hinschaut merkt man, dass die Anlage ganz schön veraltet ist. Hier ist auf jeden Fall Renovierungsbedarf! Zusätzlich ist das Hotel für Familien mit Kindern bestens geeignet. Für Reisende, die Ruhe suchen leider die falsche Adresse.
