The rooms themselves are spacious, but the location makes quick trips back and forth a bit inconvenient. The food and bar service are fine, though nothing particularly memorable. The atmosphere is lively and family‑friendly, which is great unless you’re seeking a quiet, spa‑like retreat. One thing that stands out—in a strange way—is their checkout process, where they won’t let you leave until someone inspects your room for missing items. It’s not a huge deal, but it feels awkward and unnecessarily suspicious. Overall, Baldi is okay, especially if you want lots of pools and a resort vibe, but it’s not the strongest value in La Fortuna."
