"Great hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful views of the valley and griffon vultures circling above the cliffs opposite. No restaurant meals on Wednesday as the chef has a day off but the bar menu was a fine alternative. It's a bit tricky to reach the hotel as the village's roads a very narrow and steep but it's not a problem with a little care."

"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. "We believe this a family run hotel and restaurant. Neither of us speak Spanish or Basque but the welcome and help we had was superb. The hotel is in a convenient location. Our room was silent, comfortable and clean. We dined there in the evening, the restaurant has a good choice of reasonably priced items and wine was included with our menu. Breakfast was also plentiful. Perfect stopover or base to explore this beautiful srea."
