"What amenities? Don't even have a coffeemaker in the room, hard soap bar provided (no shampoo), no breakfast, no black tea on offer for a.m. hot drinks -they do provide coffee & green tea(only) in the lobby. Staff/customer relations need a bit of work- my wife was yelled at by a man with a pretty thick accent who was difficult for both of us to understand. The HDMI port was broken and the shower surround had holes in it. Meh. . . was the cheapest thing we could find and we got what we paid for."

"The manager at this location tried blaming me for a hole in the wall that was there when we arrived. Tried to blame me for not reporting it but then claimed they check the rooms everyday, if they really did they would notice a hole in the wall. If you stay here just beware of the manager and make sure you take pictures of the room so they don't try to blame anything on you."

The hotel is a bit old and some rooms need mayor remodeling. However, beds are very comfortable and rooms were spacious. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant next to it has great food."

Included breakfast was delicious with something for everyone, granola with fresh fruit and yogurt was my choice - my husband went for the pancakes which he loved. Walking distance to downtown takes about 15 minutes. Noise from construction project across the street could be annoying if you face the street and want to sleep in past 8. I would definitely stay here again the next time I need to stay in SLO. Great low key...
