We liked the ambience and the wait staff. Breakfast was good and the nightly smores were fun. The room was very nice as well .The one downside was the courtyard was loud well past 10:00 pm and the staff did not enforce the 10:00 pm quiet time.

Hotel Cheval is a wonderful hotel that is beautiful, intimate and relaxing. Each room has access to the courtyard that has two large fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, a classic library space with a candy bar. The free breakfast is fabulous. The hotel is right in town so close to the center square and all the restaurants. The Pony Bar, which is part of the hotel has a great atmosphere and music at night. The hotel is pricey but but well worth it.

This is the most lovely little property with amazing staff! Everything was perfect -- our room, the common areas with fireplaces and a library, the breakfast. The staff was plentiful and very attentive; we particularly loved the constant firebuilder guys and the "S'mores Concierge"! The location is perfect, as well. We were very sorry we only booked one night. We will definitely come back!
