This is our second stay. The cabin / trailer we stayed in had everything we needed. Add, the Avila Beach area location is/was a perfect travel balance for our day trips to Santa Barbara and San Simeon, in addition to exploring the Pismo / Avila areas. Reception staff make check in and check out a breeze. Overall, a great stay!

The kids absolutely enjoyed the cabin. It was close to the pool, clean, and had what we needed to use the kitchenette. We’ll stay again!

We came at a great time of the year. Very quiet and not too many people here right now. We've enjoyed the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. This place is right next door to the natural hot springs and public swimming pool. There's a cute little farm across the street...this is an awesome place for families as well as couples trying to get away from the hustle and bustle.

I liked the heated pool and hot tub, the game room and all the out door games to play. I like the cabin. I didn’t like how the cabin ran out of hot water rather quickly.
Rented a bike to ride down the Bob Jones Trail to the Beach.

We have never stayed in a mobile / tiny home cabin so it was outside our normal. The "cabin" we stayed in was small but functional. There are hiking trails around the property, swimming pool, and other activities within the campground. Easy driving distance to Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, and Port San Luis. The reception staff are gracious and very welcoming. An awesome two day stay for my spouse and self.

Great Place to Stay!

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. We rented a cabin and it was perfect for my little family. There was so much to do at this little RV park and my kids had a blast! The workers were all incredibly kind and I appreciated their kindness. It is true that some of the rv sites are small, but I watched one of their maintenance workers helping one person after another back up their RVs. He deserves a raise for sure! He would guide them on his golf cart and then walk around and back them up with expertise and precision! My family and I will definitely be back to stay here again.

Unit was not very clean. Construction/ repair on units across from ours was very loud. Cutting down trees with chainsaws, hammering off siding etc. Was unable to close windows due to warm condition and the fact that air conditioner did not work. Was not a peaceful experience. Staff simply said sorry.

Friends weekend

Loved the idea of doing a little “glamping” this weekend. However glamping would not be a word that describes this. The only reason I can think that this property gets an excellent rating is for the campground. The area for trailers was in nice condition. The property had a lot of amenities for kids and families and this is definitely a place I would stay if we still had our trailer. Staff was pleasant and the grounds are well taken care of. The little cabins for rent are another story. Upon arrival to ours, there was a cigarette butt in the rails of the sliding door. It just got worse from there. The unit was filthy. Spilled sticky mess on the floor, carpet so stained we wouldn’t walk on it without shoes and bedroom with twin bunks was nothing but a closet. We immediately went to go buy blankets to cover the couch as it felt so dirty to even sit on. The unit had an overpowering smell of cleanser, which was used in the bathroom. It was clean, but the towel rack would fall if a towel was placed on it. The bed was very small, but we managed there and the sheets were clean. Overall, this isn’t a place for us. The level of filth on the floors and walls was too much. It is super used, evident by the condition of the furniture and walls, so it must work for many people, just not us.

Fun family cabins in quiet RV park.

What a wonderful and unique stay for our family road trip! After many hotel rooms, our cabin at Avila was a fun stay. This is mostly an RV park, but it's quiet and friendly with several cabins to rent. We were a bit confused, thinking we had booked the Hot Springs cabins. But there is a great pool, trails, and other fun activities.
