Room was clean, location was very good but did not have a view of the ocean as to much growth. Beach as lovely and staff was excellent. Parking lot is a bit aggressive to get into.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cocobolo. The staff were exceptionally friendly and we ended up eating every meal at their restaurant as it was always fresh and delicious. The room is even better than it looked in the photos and we even got the chance to see a group of monkeys travelling through while we ate breakfast at their restaurant one morning. Highly recommend!! We hope to make it back someday soon!

Cocobolo Boutique Hotel was a very pleasant surprise! Beautiful views, in a quiet semi-isloated area on the beach. Very friendly, happy staff, good food and a great funky beach bar. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Great vibes. Highly recommend!

Everything about the property and beach was what we were looking for. Quite not overpopulated. We walked the rocks and tidal pools for hours. Staff was friendly and attentive. Small bar and restaurant on property was great. We will be returning.

The view from the rooms balcony was absolutely amaizing. The staff were all helpful and willing to always do more. Issac, who waited on us for dinner was wonderful. He took us under his wing and helped us understand the property, escorted us to our room and even carried our luggage up stairs.

We loved the property and the view. Once we realized check in was at the bar restaurant, Rancho Cocobolo that is between the rooms and the beach, we were good. The parking is up a steep drive without signs, but very secluded and private. Was very quiet, except the occasional howler monkey. Staff was courteous and the breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Secluded and relaxing

Beautiful secluded hotel. Very close to the pubic beach, very busy on the weekends. Absolutely nothing to do in the area at nights, no TV either. No hot water pressure or wifi the frist few days. Repair for the internet started at 7:30AM two mornings. Staff was great, breakfast was amazing, dinners were good but a little over priced.

You will NOT be disappointed.

Wow! This hotel is amazing! We came here to unwind and relax and did exactly that. Rooms are clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast included is awesome and worth it. Staff is amazing. Being a boutique setting we got to know the staff and owner well. EVERYTHING on the menu is impeccable. Beach, also amazing and quiet. This is a TINY fishing village with a few small stores and cafes, dont expect parties and crowds! The roads to this place is a little rough but worth every bump. We will be back. Thank you Cocobollo ! Xxoo

Had the most relaxing and peaceful time at the property. The room was the perfect size for two people and had everything we needed. The view from my room was breathtaking and was so grateful to wake up to it every morning. This property is right on the beach whick made it very convinent to get your beach time. The staff was exceptionaly accommodating and genuinely kind. The breakfast that was included was delecious and made fresh every morning. If you are looking for a place to decompress, relax and get your fill of nature I would highly recommend you consider this property.

Wonderful!

We had such a wonderful time! This small boutique resort is extremely well designed, maintained and managed. The setting is very beautiful, the service is next-level in friendliness and helpfulness. Keren and Lior are super-friendly and welcoming hosts. The restaurant (especially breakfast!) is amazing. You can explore the beachfront and find your own secluded bit of beach to sun bathe, swim, snorkel, and relax. The sunsets beyond the rocks and waves are stunning. You should be prepared for some rough road with potholes in the past few miles of the journey, so do not rent a little Toyota Yaris. But if you are in a larger vehicle with higher clearance (we had a Suzuki SUV) you will be fine if you are careful and take it slow. It is well worth the trip! Enjoy! We'll definitely be back.

We've spent an excellent 10 days in Cocobolo. Super friendly and helpful hosts, quiet and peaceful place, tasty and well-priced food in the restaurant, excellent breakfasts (included), and a few sandy beaches at the walking distance. The whole crew and staff in the hotel and restaurant are engaged and will do an extra to make the guests happy - we would see genuine smiles everywhere - such a big difference to make our day! Staying with kids, it was important and convenient for us to have a full kitchen. Grocery stores are within driving distance, so we had an easy choice whether to eat at the restaurant (newly built this year!) or cook ourselves. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, and provide all the conveniences along with the stanning views. We loved the full solid wood furniture everywhere - very good choice by the owners! The hosts were helpful in booking local activities - ATV tour, deep-water fishing trip (we've caught a 7-feet long marlin!), as well as informed about beginning of "arribada" - a unique event on the nearby wildlife reserve when thousands of Olive Ridely sea turtles come out to lay eggs. Absolutely unforgettable experience! Not to mention the endless iguanas, birds, and hauler monkeys right at the property. The whole family loved the stay there. Would highly recommend to everyone who is looking to relax, rest, and get close to the nature!
