This was one of the best places we stayed. We hiked the Tuscany portion of the Via Francegena and this stop was the best. The hotel is uniquely refurbished to include the 1,000 year old structures. It was an absolute delight. Blanca, was particularity helpful and accommodating. This is the best place to stay

If you want to experience San Gimignano at its best, you need to stay inside the walls. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a historic house. The owner and her staff were so kind and helpful. They had great suggestions for restaurants, etc., and shared the history of the house. We hope to return and stay there again!

This was a lovely place to stay and the owner and staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We loved the little parlor where you can enjoy a cup of tea before bed. There is a very nice patio to sit out on. When showering, the bathroom floor gets wet because there's just a drain in the floor with only a curtain separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom, but at least it was easy to get in and out of without having to climb into a slippery tub like some other places we stayed. This place has character, is clean, and we enjoyed it.

Great location inside the city walls. Historic building with a beautiful courtyard. Room was large, warm, and comfortable in Dec. Host was fantastic and helped us with parking recommendations for our trips to Sienna and Florence. Highly recommend.

We loved the historic palazzo, the convenience of being able to walk everywhere in the old city and even to a winery, and the staff were wonderfully helpful in every way and also with making dinner reservations for us!

This property is a very historic family run palazzo. We enjoyed meeting the owner of the property and spending time in this historic palace. We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy common spaces other than just our room. We wish we had opted to have breakfast in the morning. The breakfast provided looked and smelled fantastic. We would highly recommend this property. The owner made us feel at home in her home.

Very clean and spacious rooms rught in the heart of San Gimignano. Owner was very welcoming and helped guide us to free parking areas, good restaurants and gave us tips on other places to visit. Not too many tourists in March so recommend it as a good time to visit.

Wonderful staff! They helped, saved us when the gps failed. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice evening. She walked some distance to our car and lead us. It was very kind! The room was absolutely beautiful. It was like stepping back in time to an Italian family treasure. Like a beautiful boutique, with a rich heritage. Peaceful, charming, with wonderful kind people. A little piece of heaven!

Our host was exceptional! Usually she was on the premise but if not was easy to contact with any questions. She came in early for our early check in! Had plenty of recommendations not only about San Gimignano but surrounding towns. She made us a reservation for New Year's Eve having to call several to get us a spot! The location was perfect as it was close to everything, especially the unloading area! Although a breakfast was not available we were able to get a discount at the recommended bar which was very close. We would say there again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a great stay.

Residenza Bonacorsi, a charming, historic stay right in the heart of San Gimignano. Walkable, picturesque, and uncrowded, with breathtaking views from the tower. The staff felt like family, and the food was a highlight, especially the croissants, espresso, and that unforgettable gelato nearby. A perfect blend of history, warmth, and beauty.
