"Shops were near by"

"Room was clean but small. Bathroom was cramped and very small. It gets hot in the room pretty quickly and takes a while to cool down, even with the window open. Hotel is very dated, the restaurant is not open and hasn't been since Covid. Staff is not very warm and friendly. This place is definitely not worth the price they are charging. "

"Great location with a bit of history for the movie buffs. Easy walk down to Union Square and transport options all around. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. "

"Shops nearby were helpful. Super close to a big Macy’s that had food options and in walking distance of a Trader Joe’s. The pool was under maintenance while we stayed which we were not informed about before hand. That was disappointing. "

"Always a good experience at The Marker. Easy, prompt, and polite check in which always leads to an enjoyable stay. The lobby and grand staircase is always an experience and elevates my stay every time. Appreciate the VIP perks, sad a room upgrade wasnt available, the suites are always a nice treat! Rooms can be on the smaller side and don't always come with a view, but the unique decor and layout allievate any space issues. Close to Union Square, BART/MUNI, and various restaurants. "

"This is a very dated, but comfortable property. The airport shuttle is definitely a plus. Having an IHOP on the property was great for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again next time I fly into SFO."
