"Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, pool area was clean. Balcony facing the bay/beach was wonderful. The chairs could be updated for sure. Staff in the lobby are super nice even outside in the valet area you get greeted even if you’re not using valet. Locations is close to many places so very convenient. Second time staying here and love it."

"Hotel is very basic and a bit outdated, but great location close to freeway and Balboa park, very clean grounds and room. Staff was friendly, nice pool and hot tub. Plenty of parking and awesome Mediterranean restaurant and korean bbq right across from the hotel. Good value for that price."
